KSB introduces immersion high-pressure pump

At this year's ACHEMA Frankfurt, KSB will be presenting Movitec VCl immersion pumps for the first time. This vertical multistage centrifugal pump delivers coolant, condensate and lubricants to machine tools and is also used in industrial circulation systems, cooling water circuits, flushing machines and supercharging systems for general-purpose applications. In order to effectively cover the possible flow and lift, the new Movitec VCI comes in five different sizes and different series; the maximum flow rate is 27 cubic meters per hour with a maximum discharge head of 250 meters and a pumpable fluid temperature range of -20 to +120? C The pump set is installed above the sump and its hydraulic part is immersed in the pumped medium while the motor is mounted dry; the maximum immersion depth is 732 mm. This design incorporates the benefits of submersible pumps and dry-mounted pump / motor units, saving space. As the largest components are located within the sump, the number of pipes and valves required is reduced, costs are reduced and the optimal discharge conditions are achieved. The pump can be fitted with a hollow body to ensure close contact of the water inlet with the bottom of the sump and the normal circulation of the pumped fluid. Hydrolyzed stainless steel segmented multistage pump housings and impellers ensure energy efficiency and reduced operating costs. In addition, the product has minimal heat dissipation. The new Movitec VCI's compact construction, easy-to-replace cartridge mechanical seal and small, fluid-leaked back-to-back system make it easy to maintain and long-lasting. Under normal circumstances, the pump group uses IE2 standard motor. If required, IE3 motors can also be used or the pump set can be operated with the frequency converter. That will improve system efficiency and get the flow rate that meets the actual needs.
