The main pump hydraulic components transport container is a radioactive cargo package A, for the main pump hydraulic components of the off-site transport and international transport. The successful development of this project has not only realized the localization of shipping containers for the main pump hydraulic components, but also solved the pressing needs of nuclear power plants and saved a lot of money.
The main pump hydraulic components transport container with shielding, protection of hydraulic components and seals, low temperature and other functions. The container can shield the hydraulic components of the main pump from radiation and control the radioactive dose within the limits of relevant regulations; can tighten and protect the hydraulic components of the main pump, prevent the hydraulic components from falling off and being damaged under certain accident conditions; It can carry out nitrogen maintenance on the metal surface of the hydraulic components of the main pump to prevent oxidation; can be transported by land or sea to meet the requirements of international general transport; and can be used in the arctic area of ​​minus 40 degrees Celsius.
The entire development process of the transport container has always been subject to the supervision and attention of the State Nuclear Safety Administration. The structural design, mechanical analysis and experimental simulation of the container all passed the review conducted by the experts organized by the Nuclear Safety Administration. The container processing outsourcing unit also passed the Nuclear Security Agency organized on-site inspection. Container design and manufacturing have completed the filing application in accordance with the "Measures for the Administration of Safety of Radioactive Material Transportation" and obtained the design and manufacture permission of "Nuclear Radiation Storage Class II container".
At the Daya Bay nuclear power operation company delivered the scene, the owner of the container appearance inspection and admission test, the documents were reviewed and finally agreed that the container of good quality, complete documentation and information to meet the contract requirements, to achieve the conditions of completion and delivery. Through the implementation of this project, the two sides have established good mutual trust mechanisms and channels of communication, laying the foundation for further cooperation.
